Stan Guest is Board Certified by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Stan is also a Fellow of The American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Stan is also a member of The Pedorthic Footcare Association and has continued to be a member of the APTA and MPTA since 1984.
Stan is a graduate of Wayne State University with a B.S. in Physical Therapy with distinction. He has been an adjunct professor of Kinesiology and Orthopedics at Wayne State University and has lectured at Oakland University. He has also presented lectures to groups of physicians, physical therapists, and to the general public. He is the owner of Clegg & Guest Physical Therapy.
Stan has a sports background in cross-country, track, whitewater kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and mountain biking. He is also the assistant coach and team PT of the Notre Dame Prep cross country teams. Stan has a sub-specialty in the treatment of overuse injuries of the foot and leg, and makes custom foot orthotics. Stan also specializes in connective tissue disorders.
Melissa Scheck, M.P.T.

Melissa Scheck is a graduate of Oakland University with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. She has worked in various outpatient orthopedic settings including spine care and sports rehab. Melissa has extensive experience in classical ballet as a dancer, instructor, and choreographer. She is also versed in the progressing ballet technique, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, and kinesio taping. She has interned at the Harkness Center for Dance Rehabilitation in New York.
Melissa is a highly skilled and dedicated physical therapist with a unique personal and professional understanding of hypermobility/Ehlers Danlos Syndrome(EDS). Having lived with hypermobility herself, she has firsthand experience navigating the challenges and intricacies of the condition. This personal insight has become a key driver in her successful approach to treating patients with hypermobility/EDS, allowing her to create tailored, compassionate, and effective therapy programs.
With years of clinical experience, Melissa specializes in helping individuals with hypermobility/EDS achieve strength, stability, and pain relief, improving their overall quality of life. Her approach combines a deep understanding of biomechanics, targeted exercises, and joint stabilization techniques, ensuring that each treatment plan addresses the specific needs of each individual. As a fellow zebra, she is committed to empowering her patients with the tools and knowledge to manage their condition effectively, promoting long-term health and well-being.
Breanna Konowalski, D.P.T

Breanna Konowalski is a graduate of Wayne State University with a doctorate degree in physical therapy. She is passionate about orthopedics, sports, health, and wellness.
Bre has experience working with athletes, and has extensive knowledge about basketball from being a player and a coach. Her background in kinesiology and health science complements her work as a physical therapist.
